How Families Access CareCade
Simplify Your Home Care Operations
CareCade helps DDA and HCBS providers manage scheduling, EVV, and billing in one platform.
If your loved one receives home care services from a CareCade provider, you can see their visits, caregivers, and care updates—all from your phone or computer.
The key thing to know: You don't register yourself. CareCade automatically gives you access if your email is added as a family contact on your loved one's profile. If you can't log in, your email may not be added correctly in your provider's system.
3 Steps to Get Access
Step 1: Confirm Your Email Is in the System
Contact your home care provider and confirm they have your correct email address listed as a family contact for your loved one.
If your email isn't in their system (or has a typo), they'll need to add or correct it.
Step 2: Go to Login
Once your provider has added you, visit:
Enter your email address and click "Continue."
Step 3: Check Your Email
You'll receive a secure login link—no password needed. Click the link and you're in.
That's it. You now have access to your loved one's care information.
What You'll See
Once logged in, your family dashboard shows:
- Upcoming appointments — Who's coming and when
- Visit history — What happened, verified with GPS
- Caregiver info — Names and photos of the care team
- Session notes — Updates from each visit
- "On My Way" alerts — Know when the caregiver is heading over
Common Questions
My provider hasn't added me yet. What do I say?
Ask them: "Can you add my email as a family contact in CareCade so I can see visit updates?"
If they're not sure how, they can contact CareCade support.
What if my provider doesn't use CareCade?
This access only works if your home care agency uses CareCade. If they don't, ask if they plan to—or look for providers who do in our provider directory.
Is there a cost?
No. Family portal access is always free.
Is my information secure?
Yes. CareCade is HIPAA-compliant with encrypted connections. You only see your loved one's information—no one else's.
Can I message my caregiver?
Yes, if your provider enables messaging. You can communicate directly through the portal.
