Creating a Performance Review

Step 1: Start Review

  1. Go to Team → Select team member
  2. Click Reviews tab
  3. Click + New Review

Step 2: Review Details

Step 3: Rate Categories

Score each area (1-5):

Step 4: Comments

Add narrative feedback:

  • Strengths — What they do well
  • Areas for Improvement — Growth opportunities
  • Goals — Objectives for next period

Step 5: Save

  • Save Draft — Continue editing later
  • Complete Review — Finalize and notify employee

Review Workflow

Employee Acknowledgment

After completing:

  1. Employee receives notification
  2. They review in their portal
  3. They can add comments
  4. They sign electronically

Achievements

Track positive accomplishments:

Adding an Achievement

  1. Go to Performance tab
  2. Click + Add Achievement
  3. Enter:
    • Title
    • Date
    • Description
  4. Save

Achievement Examples

  • Perfect attendance month
  • Client compliment received
  • Certification obtained
  • Going above and beyond

Achievements appear on employee profile and in reviews.


Performance Improvement

For underperforming staff:

Creating Improvement Plan

  1. In Performance tab
  2. Click + Improvement Plan
  3. Document:
    • Areas needing improvement
    • Specific goals with deadlines
    • Support/resources provided
    • Consequences if not met

Tracking Progress

  • Schedule check-in dates
  • Document progress notes
  • Update plan as needed

Generating Review PDFs

Create formal review documents:

  1. Open completed review
  2. Click Generate PDF
  3. Download or email to employee

PDF includes:

  • All ratings and comments
  • Performance metrics
  • Signature lines
  • Company branding
