How to Upload

Step by Step

  1. Go to SettingsMy Documents or Documents
  2. Tap Upload Document or +
  3. Select the document type
  4. Choose upload method:
    • Take photo
    • Choose from gallery
    • Upload file
  5. Confirm the document
  6. Submit

Taking a Photo

For best results:

  • Good lighting
  • Document flat on surface
  • All edges visible
  • Clear and focused
  • No glare or shadows

Choosing from Gallery

Select existing photo:

  1. Tap Choose from Photos
  2. Browse your gallery
  3. Select the image
  4. Crop if needed
  5. Confirm

Uploading Files

For PDF or other files:

  1. Tap Upload File
  2. Browse your device
  3. Select the file
  4. Wait for upload
  5. Confirm

Document Requirements

Image Quality

  • Clear and readable
  • All text visible
  • No blur
  • Proper orientation

File Types

Usually accepted:

  • Photos (JPG, PNG)
  • PDF documents
  • Scanned images

File Size

  • Typically up to 10MB
  • Compress if needed
  • Multiple pages may need separate uploads

After Uploading

Review Status

Documents may be:

  • Pending Review - Waiting for admin verification
  • Approved - Accepted and on file

If Rejected

If your document is rejected:

Viewing Documents

See your uploaded documents:

  1. Go to Documents
  2. View list of all uploads
  3. Tap any document to view
  4. Check status and expiration

Replacing Documents

To update an existing document:

  1. Find the document to replace
  2. Tap Replace or Update
  3. Upload new version
  4. Old version archived

Expiring Documents

Track expiration dates:

  • View upcoming expirations
  • Get notifications before expiry
  • Upload renewals before deadline
  • Avoid work interruptions

Credential Tracking

How It Works

CareCade tracks your credentials:

Expiration Reminders

You'll be notified:

  • 30 days before expiration
  • 14 days before
  • 7 days before
  • Day of expiration

Renewing Credentials

When credentials need renewal:

  1. Complete renewal requirements
  2. Obtain new certificate/card
  3. Upload new document
  4. Administrator verifies
  5. Record updated

Common Documents

Driver's License

Upload when:

  • Starting employment
  • License renewed
  • Address changed

Include:

  • Front of license
  • Clear photo
  • All text visible

CPR Certification

Upload:

  • Certificate front
  • Completion date visible
  • Expiration date visible
  • Issuing organization

Training Certificates

Upload:

  • Full certificate
  • Your name visible
  • Date completed
  • Course name

Troubleshooting

Upload Fails

If upload doesn't work:

  1. Check internet connection
  2. Try smaller file size

If image isn't clear:

  1. Retake in better lighting

Wrong Document Type
