Accessing Chat
From Navigation
- Tap Chat in the bottom navigation
- View your conversations
- Tap any conversation to open
Quick Access
- Red badge shows unread messages
- Recent chats on dashboard
- Notifications take you directly to chat
Chat Types
Direct Messages
One-on-one conversations:
- Message specific coworker
- Private communication
- Coordinate on shared clients
- Ask questions
Group Chats
Team conversations:
- Multiple participants
- Team announcements
- Group coordination
- Shared information
Admin Messages
Communications from administration:
- Announcements
- Policy updates
- Important information
- Organization news
Starting a Conversation
New Direct Message
- Tap Chat tab
- Tap + or New Message
- Select person to message
- Type your message
- Tap send
Joining Group Chats
Group chats you're added to:
- Appear in your chat list
- Can be created by admins
- May be team-based
- Participate as appropriate
Sending Messages
Typing Messages
- Open the conversation
- Tap the message field
- Type your message
- Tap send (arrow icon)
Message Options
You can:
- Send text messages
- Share photos (if enabled)
- React to messages
- Reply to specific messages

- Be clear and concise
- Professional tone
- Check before sending
- One topic per message when possible

Finding Chats
Search for conversations:
- Tap search icon in Chat
- Enter name or keyword
- Find matching conversations
- Tap to open
Organizing
Conversations sorted by:
- Most recent first
- Unread at top
- Pinned chats (if available)
Archiving/Muting
If you need to:
- Mute notifications for a chat
- Archive old conversations
- Options in chat settings

Reply to specific messages:
- Press and hold the message
- Tap Reply
- Type your response
- Original message quoted
Reactions
Quick reactions:
- Press and hold message
- Select emoji reaction
- Reaction appears on message
