Warning Types

Creating a Warning
Step 1: Start Warning
- Go to Team → Select team member
- Click Warnings tab
- Click + New Warning
Step 2: Warning Details

Step 3: Improvement Plan
Document expectations:
- What needs to change
- Timeline for improvement
- Support provided
- Consequences if not improved
Step 4: Save
- Save Draft — Continue editing
- Issue Warning — Finalize and notify

Progressive Discipline
Standard escalation:
1st Offense → Verbal Warning
↓
2nd Offense → Written Warning
↓
3rd Offense → Final Warning
↓
4th Offense → Termination
Note: Serious violations may skip steps. Always consult HR for terminations.
Generating Warning PDFs
Create formal warning letters:
- Open the warning
- Click Generate PDF
- PDF includes:
- Company letterhead
- Warning details
- Employee acknowledgment section
- Manager signature line
What's in the PDF
- Date and warning type
- Description of issue
- Prior warning history
- Expected improvement
- Consequences
- Signature lines
Employee Acknowledgment
After issuing:
- Employee receives notification
- They review the warning
- They sign electronically or physically
- Acknowledgment recorded with timestamp
If Employee Refuses to Sign
- Document the refusal
- Note "Employee refused to sign"
- Have witness sign instead
- Warning is still valid
Viewing Warning History
Individual History
Team member profile shows:
- All warnings (active and resolved)
- Warning type and date
- Current status
Team Overview
- Go to Reports → HR Reports
- View all team warnings
- Filter by status, type, date
Resolving Warnings
When improvement achieved:
- Open the warning
- Click Resolve
- Add resolution notes
- Warning moves to history
Resolved warnings remain on record but shown as resolved.
