Viewing Your Schedule

See all your upcoming appointments at a glance. The schedule view helps you plan your day, check client details, and stay on top of your commitments.


Accessing Your Schedule

From the bottom navigation bar, tap the Schedule tab (calendar icon). Your schedule displays your assigned appointments.

Schedule Views

Day View

Shows appointments for a single day:

  • Time slots run vertically
  • Each appointment shows client name, time, and location
  • Color coding indicates appointment status
  • Tap any appointment for details

Navigation:

  • Swipe left/right to change days
  • Tap the date at the top to jump to a specific date
  • Tap "Today" to return to current day

Week View

See your full week at a glance:

  • Each column represents a day
  • Appointments shown as colored blocks
  • Good for planning ahead
  • Tap any day to switch to Day view

Navigation:

  • Swipe left/right to change weeks
  • Tap on any day to see that day's details

List View

All appointments in a simple list:

  • Sorted by date and time
  • Shows upcoming appointments first
  • Good for quick scanning
  • Includes basic appointment info

Navigation:

  • Scroll to see more appointments
  • Pull down to refresh

Switching Views

Tap the view selector at the top of the screen:

  • Day - Detailed single day
  • Week - Week overview
  • List - Simple list format

Your preferred view is remembered for next time.

Understanding Appointment Cards

Each appointment displays:

Primary Information

  • Client name - Who you're visiting
  • Time - Start and end time
  • Duration - How long the visit is

Secondary Information

  • Address - Where to go
  • Status - Scheduled, In Progress, Completed
  • Special notes - Any important reminders

Color Coding

ColorMeaning
BlueUpcoming scheduled
GreenCompleted
YellowIn progress
RedMissed or late
GrayCancelled

Viewing Appointment Details

Tap any appointment to see the full details:

  • Complete client information
  • Full address with map link
  • Service notes and instructions
  • Previous appointment history
  • Contact information

From details, you can:

  • Get directions
  • Clock in (when ready)
  • View client profile
  • Contact the office

Filtering Your Schedule

By Status

Filter to show only certain appointments:

  1. Tap the filter icon (funnel)
  2. Select statuses to show:
    • Scheduled
    • In Progress
    • Completed
    • Cancelled
  3. Apply filter

By Date Range

View a specific time period:

  1. Tap the date selector
  2. Choose "Custom Range"
  3. Select start and end dates
  4. View filtered results

Schedule Features

Calendar Sync

Export your schedule to your phone's calendar:

  1. Go to Settings → Calendar Sync
  2. Enable sync
  3. Choose which calendar to use
  4. Appointments appear in your calendar app

Appointment Reminders

Get notifications before appointments:

  • Default: 30 minutes before
  • Customize in Settings → Notifications
  • Includes address and client name

Quick Actions

From any appointment, quickly:

  • Navigate - Open in maps app
  • Call client - If phone number available
  • Call office - Contact your supervisor
  • Clock in - Start the appointment

Finding Past Appointments

To view completed appointments:

  1. Go to Schedule
  2. Tap the date and select a past date
  3. Or use List view and scroll down
  4. Or use the filter to show "Completed"

Past appointments show:

  • Completion time
  • Notes you wrote
  • Duration worked

Schedule Changes

When your schedule changes:

You Get Notified

  • Push notification for new/changed appointments
  • Email summary if enabled
  • Badge count on Schedule tab

Viewing Changes

  • Changed appointments highlighted briefly
  • New appointments appear in your schedule
  • Cancelled appointments removed (or shown struck through)

Tips for Managing Your Schedule

Start of Day

  1. Open the app
  2. Check today's appointments
  3. Note any special instructions
  4. Plan your route between visits

Between Appointments

  1. Check your next appointment
  2. Get directions if needed
  3. Review client notes
  4. Allow travel time

End of Day

  1. Verify all appointments completed
  2. Submit any pending documentation
  3. Check tomorrow's schedule
  4. Note any issues for follow-up

Troubleshooting

Schedule Not Loading

  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Pull down to refresh
  3. Close and reopen the app
  4. Log out and back in if needed

Missing Appointments

  1. Check the date you're viewing
  2. Check your filters
  3. Pull to refresh
  4. Contact your administrator if still missing

Wrong Schedule

  1. Verify you're logged into the correct account
  2. Pull to refresh
  3. Contact administrator if discrepancy continues
